Do you have a choice?

Some schools dictate to their students that they must go to the contract studio for yearbook pictures.  Imagine that, they think they know which studio is best for you to use!  Now, if you're used to being dictated to, and you're comfortable with not having a choice, go ahead.  Follow exactly what they say and use their studio.

However, if you have a backbone, and can make your own decisions, decide for your self.

Imagine if they told you which restaurant you had to use. I bet all the food at THEIR GREASY SPOON would taste like a cafeteria.  Would you only eat there? I don't think so! Most of us want a little more on the menu. And almost all of us want the best quality for the price.  So....

Shop around. Check out the competition. Do your own research and make up your own mind.  After all, that's what they've been trying to teach you for 12 years, right?

We have been trying to get this system stopped. There is a bill in the Ohio House of Representatives that has been stalled for 3 years. Do you know why? Cause the big studios that stay in business only because of their "exclusive contracts" know they will bite the big one if they can't force you to come to them.

Call your representative and get this thing moving. And complain to the school management about this monopolistic practice.  And don't reward those that try to tell you where to go.

Now, don't get me wrong. I think the yearbook is a great thing.  We think every one should be in it.  After all, where else will we get those dartboard pics from?  Just kidding!
